Passacaglia
Tilde finished her Passacaglia-top.
It stalled for a long sewing-drought, but now it's finished. I used the 6" LeMoyne star collection all the way through, but it can be made just as easily with the Free Collection.
There is a (general) FREE pattern for how to make it with the FREE collection right here. Inspiration for this quilt was found in 'The Quilts of Lucy Boston' by Diane Boston.
Hand- and Machine-pieced.
Finished size : 72 x 96"

Pies and Tarts
Cathy in TN has started a quilt with the brand new Pies and Tarts collection. It's a collaboration between Linda Franz and Sue Daley. Cathy writes :
I'm sending a pic of my Pies and Tarts progress. Don't know if I'll ever geti t square as I just seem to keep adding in random fashion, but I think it's coming together nicely and is such a pleasure to piece. (I am hand piecing it).
Don't think it looks much like Pies an Tarts, so I am renaming my quilt 'Beachballs in the Sand".
Cathy is hand-piecing, and it looking real good so far, Cathy :-)

Alabama Beauty
Karen Dianne has just finished the binding on her Alabama Beauty quilt.
She writes:
"What surprised me the most wasn't that I tried something new .... [it] was that I had a tool that allowed me to create this amazing block."
Her quilt finished at 54.5 x 65 and is absolutely a beauty!

Tennessee Waltz
Nancy in Alabama made this gorgeous Tennessee Waltz quilt.
She writes :
I finally finished a project using Inklingo. The pattern is Tennessee Waltz. I used Christmas fabrics for the 65" square quilt which is a wedding gift for my nephew and his bride.
I used shapes from the 9" Storm At Sea and the HST collection.
I love how totally accurate Inklingo is.
Well, Nancy, looking at your quilt, your piece work isn't exactly sloppy either. Looks absolutely lovely and I'm sure it's going to be loved.

Winding Ways
Barbara in North Carolina writes :
I am working on a Winding Ways quilt using the 9" block. I have these 25 blocks finished but need 72 for the quilt. This is not the final arrangement, but I throw the blocks up as I finish them. This is to be a wedding gift for my daughter. She loves Japanese taupes, so I am using those, with a few red and blue punches. My goal is to have the quilt finished so I can take it on the plane to her marriage celebration in May
I have a long way to go, and I may have overestimated what I can accomplish in the time left!
... but it sure is looking great Barbara. Look forward to see the finished project !
