Hexagon Bag / Tote

Jeannette from Down Under has made this gorgeous bag.
She writes :
I used 1" hexes and half hexes from collection 1 (editor's note : The same shapes are in the downloadable 1" Hexagon collection). The outside of the bag is hand pieced and the lining and pocket is machined. I hand quilted around the centre hexes and I used no 5 Perle black cotton at all intersections of the half hexes to put a large stitch along each seam with a black bead in the centre.
I hand stitched the handles on.
The bag measures 10 x 12"

Tea Roses

Tilde has finished a hexagon top, using the 0.75" shapes from Collection 3.
Size of top : 48 x 66"

It was a fun quilt to make, and making hexagon flowers as rectangular blocks made the joining of them very easy.

Tiny Tote exchange

Jillian - who organized the Tiny Tote swap - also swapped herself. And here's the tote she sent to her lucky recipient.

Pink Tumbling blocks

Wendy made this small Tumbling Block quilt. She writes :

Made with 1" diamonds and half elongated hexes, from collection # 1.

I made it with fabrics I had dyed in shades of pink.

The pattern is based on Ami's sisters quilt a free download on the Inklingo web-page.

Symbols quilt

Kathy made this wonderful quilt using Collection # 1. She writes :
I used the 2" hexagon, half hexagon and Diamonds from Inklingo Collection # 1. The quilt before borders is about 83" square and with my borders it will be 101".

Round Hexagon bag

Elly made this great little bag. She writes :
The pattern was from the book "21 terrific patchwork bags" by Susan Briscoe. I made it using Inklingo shape collection 1, using the 1" hexagon + halves and diamond. It turned out slightly bigger than the pattern in the book since the hexes in that are 7/8" size... but that was okay since it gave a bigger bag :) It was quite easy to adjust.

The finished size of my bag is 8.5" in diameter. I used a suitable sized plate to make the circle background.. (bear in mind you need 1/2" seam allowance all round) and appliqued the Inklingo panels to it. The pattern says to hand quilt but I was in a hurry so machine quilted (it will be stronger for it too).

Table-topper with coasters

Tilde made this small table-topper with 6 matching coasters using Collection # 1.
Shapes used are diamonds, hexagons, half-hexagons and the elongated half-hexagons.

Coasters have sides of 6" as does the table-topper .... which makes it 12 * 10"

Jane Austen's Writing Table

David from France made this wonderful little quilt, using Linda Franz's pattern.

He made the 6 4"-diamonds that are used from Collection # 1, using half-hexagons, hexagon, diamond and equilateral triangles.

Diameter of project is 17 ½"

Table-runner

Mary made this tablerunner with the half-hexagon shapes. I've seen this pattern described as "City Lights". She used the 1.5" size from Collection # 3.
