More POTC - Lucy Boston

She is in love with the combinations that uses 16 of the 90-degree hexagons.

Pia's Tiny Tote

She writes that her 13 year old daughter would like to have it, but that she is keeping it for herself.

Symbols quilt

Symbols Quilt

Kathy made this wonderful quilt using Collection # 1. She writes :
I used the 2" hexagon, half hexagon and Diamonds from Inklingo Collection # 1. The quilt before borders is about 83" square and with my borders it will be 101".

Patchwork of the Crosses - Lucy Boston

Cathi has been working with the new Patchwork of the Crosses collection (Inklingo Lite 4) and has, so far, made these six blocks.

She has been fascinated by the Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses quilt ever since seeing a picture of it in an old issue of a quilt magazine. As soon as the collection came out with the shapes for it, she started printing the shapes and stitching blocks.

Sewing kit

Erin made this great little sewing-kit from the Drunkard's Path collection. She writes :

I was inspired by a post from Karen at SewManyWays to create this travel sewing kit. Her Tuesday Tool Time tip about using an eye bolt to hang around your neck to hold bobbins or spools of thread was my inspiration for the idea. I attached a length of ribbon to the eye bolt and then added a little needle case at one end. Then I modified the idea further by adding the scissors to the other end of the ribbon. I used the Drunkard’s Path collection to create the needle case. I’ll be posting a link to the step-by-step tutorial on my blog.

Tea Tote

Erin made this really cute and useful project with the Drunkard's Path collection.
She writes :
I made the tea tote to carry my favorite tea bags with me. You could use it to carry tea and/or packets of sweetner. I used the Drunkard’s Path collection to create it.

It measures 3” x 3” when closed. I’ll be posting a link to the step-by-step tutorial on my blog.

0.25" Christmas Tree

Penny made a teeny tiny Christmas tree using Cathi's pattern
... only, she has not used the 1.25" hexagons that Cathi suggested, but rather the 0.25" hexagons from the collection of that name (yes, you read right, one quarter inch sides on the hexagons)

She writes :
It looks bigger than it actually is. It is only 4.5 x 6". Could almost have made it into a post card.

Drunkard's Path

Mary has finished her Drunkard's Path quilt.

... and it's looking wonderful, Mary.

Finger Pincushions

Joan from Australia made these cute pincushions that live on your finger while you hand-piece.

Directions on how to do them and the circle shape you need to make them, are in the 0.5" hexagon and diamond collection.

Jane Austen quilt

Marta is making the Jane Austen quilt too.

Here's her progress ... and a good view at the problems made by too little space on the design-wall :-)

The Jane Austen quilt

Karen is making the Jane Austen quilt, and it is, as you can see, a work in progress. She writes :

I added a new row to my Jane Austen. I started out hand piecing, but with these long rows, I've switched to machine.

Triangles Galore
Elly writes :

I made a medallion using Inklingo 2. Finished size 23” square

The shapes used are as follows:

Center : Uses the Half Rectangle Triangle (HRT)

On-point setting triangles and triangles in the first border are the Half Square Triangles (HST)

In the 8 corners of the pieced borders I’ve used the Quarter Square Triangles (QST).

In the Outer border I’ve used HST to make flying geese. (The green in the picture doesn't have a seam in reality). Inklingo shapes printed onto the lighter of the fabrics (except for center HRT)

The strips between the borders are ‘coping’ strips to get the borders to the sizes needed to add the pieced borders.
