Martha made this one using the 6" LeMoyne Star collection. She writes :Stayed up past my bedtime and finished this block from the six inch Inklingo collection. It finishes at 12 inches and is machine and hand pieced.
I machine pieced the center until I came to the light green pieces in the outer ring of diamonds and then I found it easier to do the y-seams by hand.

Wow Martha! This turned out really well. I love your color choices and that you went out on a limb and put that bold checkerboard in there! What did you do with this block?
