Another one of Linda's sampler-tops.

This one features the Drunkard's Path collection, and shows (some of) the possibilities of the components.

Size of project : 21 x 48"

Double Wedding Ring Table Runner / Sampler

And here is what could be called a Double Wedding Ring Sampler
Linda writes :

I am really proud of this one, because I used every single shape in the collection !

Well, good for you ! and how great that we can see all the different shapes in cloth, now.

Size of project : 18 x 64"

Inklingo Sampler

Again Linda D. (She really has been busy !)
This is Linda's Christmas version of the square blocks from the Inklingo Sampler.

The blocks are 6", and the top is 37" square.

Hexagon Sampler

Linda D. has been busy making lots of tops for demonstrating Inklingo at a quilt-show.

This is her hexagon sampler, where she has used the hexagon bonus-blocks from the Inklingo Sampler-blog, and Inklingo KISS 101 for the setting.

Circle of Swallows quilt

Jeannette from South Australia made this great quilt with the Circle of Swallows block.

She writes :

here is a picture of my latest quilt. It is made with the free Lemoyne Star and 3" hst's from Collection 2.

I hand pieced the blocks and joined them together with my machine.
The white background is stipple quilted and the border is a geometric design formed from the shape of the triangles.
It is machine quilted.
The quilt measures 41"x51" and the blocks are 10"x10" finished. .

Candied Hexagons

Tammi has started her dream-project. It's an elderly pattern from a now sold-out magazine, and it's called "Candied Hexagons".

She is using Collection # 3 to make the individual hexagons, and each hexagon finish at 3"

... oh, and you can find patterns for the two types of stars found here, on the Inklingo Sampler blog.

More POTC - Lucy Boston

Joan seems unable to stop herself. Here's another 5 gorgeous POTC blocks from her hand.

The top one has had the background fabric hexagons added, and one strip of the square "joiners"

Tiny Tote exchange

Jillian - who organized the Tiny Tote swap - also swapped herself. And here's the tote she sent to her lucky recipient.

Blocks (her own design) are made with Collection # 3

(and at least one of them will appear as a hexagon bonus-block on the Inklingo sampler later this year)

Tiny Tote exchange

Pia also participated in the Tiny Tote swap on the Inklingo-list on Yahoo.
Here's the tote she sent.

(The tote uses the free collection and a free pattern, so it's very easy for you to make your own version, should you want to.)

Jane Austen patchwork

Martha's Jane Austen project is growing.
She writes :

Jane Austen Patchwork update. It's taking over the wall.

You can see the tiny diamonds on the right side. I would not take odds on my finishing those!

... oh well, you can't have everything, and it sure looks good even without the small diamonds.

Insanity !

Rae Ann
has finished the centre of her Insanity quilt.
This project uses the 0.5" hexagons ! so in spite of how formidable it looks, it isn't all that big :-)
She writes :

So this is my Insanity Quilt. I stitch when times allows me. I'm making my quilt with the 1/2" hexagons from Linda's Inklingo. All 158 of my diamonds is make using a differnt 30's reporduction fabric (as are my flowers which are not yet sewn on thus far). I don't know what else to say.

... well ... I don't think you need to say much more, Rae Ann. It looks great :-)

Snowball quilt

And Mary has also found time - in her busy quilting-schedule - to finish this bright and beautiful Snow-ball-quilt.

She used jelly rolls for the HST corners, and the quilt finishes at approximately 68"x78".

More POTC - Lucy Boston

And Mary has finished her POTC-top.

... gorgeous seems to just about describe it.

POTC - Lucy Boston

Joan really is busy with her POTC, so here are two more of her gorgeous blocks.
If you want to know more about fussy-cutting / printing with Inklingo, Linda has a very instructive video on her blog, right here.

Mary too has started a project with the new Inklingo KISS 103

As can be seen, she is using blacks, whites and ... brights :-)

POTC - Lucy Boston

Joan continues to make POTC-blocks and here is her latest crop of beauties.

(Try clicking on the pictures to see her wonderful fussy-cutting / fussy-printing of the centres on these blocks)

Passacaglia

Tilde is still making (and enjoying) the blocks inspired by Lucy Boston's Passacaglia patchwork.

She is using the 6" LeMoyne star collection, and the blocks finish at 12"

These blocks can also be made with the free collection. They will then end up 9" square.

Octagons ...

Martha too has found inspiration in "The Patchworks of Lucy Boston" and has started her own version of the Keyboard Patchwork, using hand-dyed fabrics from many sources.
She writes :

I am not sure where I am going with this but it is lovely to put together.

GFG-block

And a third project from Missy's hand.
She writes :

The Grandmother's Flower Garden Block was made with the .5" Hexagon collection and measures 8 inches with the narrow strips of about 1/4 inch.

I made this as part of a group quilt for a friend with cancer. I finished it about a week ago.

Hexagon Placemat

Another beauty, made from the pattern that comes with the 0.5" hexagon collection.

Missy writes :

The place mat was made with the .5" Hexagon collection, instructions are in the collection. It was my first Inklingo project and got me thoroughly hooked! I can't remember for sure when I made it ... probably 2007.

Finished size : 13.5 x 18.5"

Texas Stars

Missy has been making a Texas Star quilt.

She writes :

I made the Texas Star from Collection 1; I started it last fall to work on while traveling by plane.

I pieced happily through all the boring parts of the seminar I attended. I finished it in June 2009 and it measures 61"x73.5"

Cathi's Inklingo Star

Cathi is making stars using the shapes in the Inklingo Lite #5 collection.

As soon as she saw the long skinny triangles that are part of that collection, she immediately knew she had to make these blocks. It will be a small doll's or teddy bear's quilt.

Harpsichord Quilt

Cathi is making what she's calling the Harpsichord Quilt, inspired by the Lucy Boston Keyboard Patchwork and by harpsichords she saw a year ago.

The shapes for this block are from the Inklingo KISS 103 collection.

Dakota Delights

Jillian is making this wall-hanging from her own pattern.

She writes :

This is made with 1" hexagons. Unfinished size is 18 x 19". I'm planning on embroidering on the butterfly antennae and perhaps do some bead / crystal embellishments.

This may look familiar to some of you as I did it as a kit for the Great Inklingo Give-Away. When I printed the hexes for the kit, I did a set for myself too. I'm thinking I'm going to try this with the 0.5" hexagon collection next.

Hexagon Placemat

Joan has been busy with hexagons too, making this pretty placemat for a freind.
The pattern is in the 0.50" Hexagon collection.

Size : 13.5 x 18.5"

More POTC - Lucy Boston

Joan in Australia is making POTC-blocks too

Patchwork of the Crosses - Lucy Boston

Well ... "we" are still making Patchwork of the Crosses blocks, and here are Maryam's latests. Did I tell you that she's making them on her machine, and not by hand ?

Well ... she is.

... quite impressive !

Pilamaya

Mary Ellen made this wonderful wall-hanging, using the Free Collection. She writes :

I finished a 25" square wall-hanging this morning. I hand pieced and hand quilted the diamonds from the Free Collection, and used the four sacred colours of the Lakota tribes : white, black, red and yellow.

I'm calling it "Pilamaya" which means "thank you" in Lakota.

Pilamaya will be sent to the tour guide who recently accompanied a group of senior citizens to some of the western US states.

... all I can say is "Lucky Tour guide" :-)

Tiny Tote exchange

We have another happy receiver of a Tiny Tote from the exchange at the Inklingo Yahoo-group.
This one is made by Rae Ann for Penny, using Japanese fabrics.

Road to Oklahoma

Kiwi has been testing Inklingo, using the free collection (but the block could be made with Collection # 2 too) . She writes :

The block is about 5.75" square. The fabrics I am using aren't the best but good enough for practice! :-) I need lots of practice!!

Well ... I think your block looks good, Kiwi !

Another Tiny Tote

Another Tiny Tote from the exchange over at the Yahoo group. This one is from Penny to Rae Ann

Beautiful, if you ask me, and the cutest dragon-fly button (smaller picture on the right.)

Remember, the pattern for this one is a free download at the Inklingo-page, and you can make it, using the free Inklingo collection.

Not with these stars, however, to make those, you need to purchase Collection 3
