Japanese X/+ Blocks

Kathy in Nashville has been busy making Japanese X/spool blocks using the Inklingo Japanese X or Spool collection.

She writes:

"These are the 7.5" Japanese X/Spool blocks. I have probably twice this amount made now. These are just up on my design wall. Hand pieced out of lots of charm squares and layer cakes. Fun to make!"

Spool/Japanese X Quilt

Carol made this vibrant Spool quilt using the Inklingo Spool/Japanese X collection.

She writes:

"I used a total of 386 different fabrics. It was machine pieced using the Inklingo Spool block. It will be at the Quiltfest Jacksonville 2013 show in September.

The title is 'Besos y Abrazos' which means Kisses and Hugs in Spanish."
